By accessing and using Eventofu's platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our platform.
2. Vendor Registration
To become a vendor on Eventofu, you must:
Provide accurate and complete registration information
Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
Be at least 18 years of age
Have the legal authority to enter into this agreement
Provide valid business documentation and identification
3. Service Listings and Content
Vendors are responsible for:
Accurate and truthful service descriptions
Maintaining up-to-date pricing and availability
Ensuring all content complies with applicable laws
Not posting prohibited or illegal services
Responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner
Maintaining service quality as advertised
4. Commission and Payments
Eventofu charges competitive commission rates on completed transactions:
Standard commission rate: 7% on all bookings
Launch partners: 5% for first 6 months
High-volume vendors: 5-7% for vendors with 50+ monthly bookings
Venue services: 5-10% based on venue size and amenities
Other services: 7-10% varying by service complexity
Payments are processed within 7 business days after event completion
All payments are subject to applicable taxes
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation terms vary by service category and vendor policies:
More than 30 days before event: Full refund (minus processing fees)
15-30 days before event: 50% refund or rescheduling option
Less than 15 days: No refund, case-by-case review for emergencies
Vendor cancellations may affect your platform standing and ratings
Force majeure events are handled on a case-by-case basis
6. Intellectual Property
Eventofu retains all rights to the platform, technology, and brand. Vendors retain rights to their original content but grant Eventofu a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote it on the platform.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate vendor accounts for:
Violation of these terms or platform policies
Fraudulent activity or misrepresentation
Consistently poor customer service ratings
Legal or regulatory compliance issues
Non-payment of commissions or fees
Extended periods of inactivity
8. Limitation of Liability
Eventofu acts as an intermediary platform and is not liable for:
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from platform use
Vendor service quality or delivery issues
Customer disputes with vendors
Technical issues beyond our reasonable control
Our total liability is limited to the commission fees paid in the preceding 6 months.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, before pursuing litigation.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms periodically to reflect:
Changes in our services or business model
Legal or regulatory requirements
User feedback and platform improvements
Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notifications.
